The long awaited Mineralogical Calculations for Windows ("MinCalcW"), (the Windows version of J.A.Mandarino's "MinCalc", originally developed at The Royal Ontario Museum) is ready for Alpha Testing (i.e. mostly usability review, and some mineralogy issues).
We are currently recruiting Alpha Testers.
If you are interested, please use our "support" mechanism, and contact us only from an academic or professional email domain (i.e. no freemail addresses, unless you used that address to register for MinCalc for DOS).

 Projects:
Non-profit computer projects including the Ghana Project, Geek Culture, Internet Abuse, and some of the background that led to the creation of our email security suite

 Support:
official Email Acceptable Use Policy; contact information; email troubleshooting guide; copyright statement;

Current system status:
All emails sent to "tagged" email addresses are not being delivered, they are temporarily being archived until we can migrate to a new host.
 Wildlife:
Pictures (1966) of 246 North American wildlife species:
181 bird, 22 mammal, 43 other species, and articles of interest to Amateur Naturalists!

Starting mid-2021, massive overhaul & update:
 - lots of new pictures and species
 - "thumbnail" pictures for every multi-species index
 - all "PicoWeek" pictures/pages are being moved into the main Wildlife area
 - all individual picture pages are being renamed
Most of the overhaul is done, except for a few minor tweaks. :)
Expect more new wildlife pictures in spring of 2024.

 Chipmunks:
The Chipmunk Anti-Deprivation League contains:
pictures (229); video clips (2); information about attracting and interacting with these delightful creatures.
(All Most content is of the species: Eastern Chipmunk (Tamias striatus).)

Much of our site contains family friendly pictures of wildlife (particularly chipmunks), however parents should be aware of several clearly marked hand-fed wildlife pictures.   We do NOT, and NEVER will have, any outside advertising.

This entire site can be safely viewed with any browser security setting.
